Understanding a space’s use is a key to specifying the right lighting system. These seven products are tailored to project type and task-specific applications such as manufacturing facilities, food-processing plants, and marine environments to provide high output and durability.
Metalux SkyBar, Eaton’s Cooper Lighting Business
Using WaveStream technology, this LED high-bay fixture features sets of two and four blades that can be field-adjusted to focus light. Long-life LEDs are available in 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K at a CRI of 85. Five lumen packages deliver approximately 105 lumens per watt and range from 94W to 313W. High-optical-grade acrylic lenses deliver directed illumination in narrow and wide distributions. Integral electronic drivers are dimmable with standard zero-to-10V and optional DALI controls. Motion sensors with either a 180-degree or a 360-degree field can be integrated, as can a modular power receptacle.cooperlighting.com

SNLED Linear LED Strip, Eaton’s Cooper Lighting Business
The striplight gets an upgrade in this narrow-lensed LED series by Eaton’s Copper Lighting Business. Offered in base, lensed, and reflector versions, the fixture provides 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K with a typical CRI of 85-plus. A Class 2, 24V DC constant driver comes standard with zero-to-10V dimming, and the luminaire is step-dim- and DALI- compatible. Efficacies of up to 116 lumens per watt provide illumination for use in space-restricted areas such as storage and utility rooms, coves, and retail displays. The luminaire can be configured in 2’, 4’, and 8’ lengths. Lumen packages for the three versions range from 2,100 lumens to 11,600 lumens. cooperlighting.com

Phuzion LED, Acuity Brands/Holophane
This high-bay LED luminaire, which can be either ceiling-or pendant-mounted, is designed for applications with installation heights over 30’. The fixture has a prismatic borosilicate glass lens with narrow-, medium-, and wide-beam distributions at 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K with a CRI of 70. The five available LED lumen packages range from 12,000 to 24,000 lumens and are available in a single fixture. A cold-rolled steel twin configuration bracket allows for doubling of fixtures to achieve more light from a single mounting point. An integrated occupancy and photocell sensor is also available. Dimmable with zero-to-10V controls. The optics are IP65 rated and are CSA-certified for use in damp locations with a maximum ambient temperature of 65 C. Finishes include white, gray, and satin nickel paint.holophane.com

Vantage LED, Acuity Brands/Holophane
For project applications such as food-processing facilities and pharmaceutical plants that have strict requirements regarding dust collection and cleanliness, Acuity Brands’ Holophane has developed the Vantage LED. Its sloped, cast-aluminum housing features tongue-and-grove construction and a corrosion-resistant finish to repel water and limit debris build-up. Lumen packages of 10,000, 12,000, 14,000, 18,000, and 22,000 are offered at 4000K and 5000K and a CRI of 70-plus. The luminaire is suited for spaces with ceiling heights ranging from 15’ to 45’ and ambient temperatures from -40 C to 55 C. A zero-to-10V dimming driver is standard. The gasketed hook- and pendant-mounted fixture measures 20.65” in diameter and 16.67” tall, and it weighs 36 lbs. holophane.com

Hazardous Kemlux III LED, Hubbell Lighting
For use in hazardous location applications such as chemical and power-generation plants, Hubbell Lighting’s Hazardous Kemlux III delivers up to 105 lumens per watt at 5000K. The fixture can be mounted in six positions. Its radial design and copper-free, cast-aluminum fins help to diffuse heat and allow the fixture to operate in -40 C to 40 C environments while a powdered, polyester finish resists corrosion. LED groupings of 18, 24, and 36 are arranged across as many as six light engines to offer redundancy. The fixture’s output ranges from 4,405 lumens to 9,004 lumens, and it consumes 43W to 86W. A 10kVA surge suppressor offers transient voltage protection. hubbelllighting.com
